Developing Idea
At the at of this stage, we were mainly working on developing the concept and preparing the presentation. Our final design incorporates the physical experiences and the digital ones, by which people can share and exchange their interests and carry out their creations, while they can also record their original creations on the platform and get a timestamp to verify their “transaction” in both physical and digital ways.
For the physical part, Gab and Ines set up a “MashUp Center” in the studio to represent the Brixton community.

For the digital part, Ines, Manali and I redesign the interfaces and structures more clearly.

Presentation and Reflection
Presentation recording by Slyvester
Our group designed an experience incorporating both physical and digital interactions called “MashUp” responding to the brief of designing a way to materialize the blockchain.
In this system, we situated in Brixton, explored the salient features of 'diversity in this community, love and care are also keywords that Brixton reveals to us.
The presentation went well, participants were very nice and encouraged us a lot, however, I still think the design could be improved. For example, user privacy has not been considered enough in our projects.
Furthermore, understanding the blockchain and materializing the blockchain brings me to the new visions of the digital world, networked digital information technology has rooted itself so deep into human nature that has shaped our perceptions, conditioned our choices, and reconfigured our experience of space and time (Greenfield, 2017, p16). Is this a good or bad thing? I can't answer, while technology brings us convenience it limiting our imagination, to materialize it, make me realise that as a UX designer, the smartest experience is not always the best, rather, the humanity, the care, the love is the most important thing we need to look.
